Dr. B. Monte Stewart, MD, FACS
Dr. Stewart completed medical school at Loma Linda University in 1989 and his general surgery training at Loma Linda University Medical Center in 1994, followed by fellowship training in trauma and surgical critical care at Los Angeles County USC Medical Center. He served as a Major in the U.S. Army Medical Corps, on the teaching staff at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and served as president of its Oregon Chapter from 2022 to 2024.
He has practiced in Southern Oregon since 2001 and in 2017 founded the Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment Center of Southern Oregon. He uses HBOT for his surgery patients before and after an operation, and to help treat hard to heal wounds and failed skin grafts and flaps.
